We worked with an amazing hip hop artist Prophit recently on a few projects. Prophit’s style is smooth, fluent, and real. Definitely reminds me of older smart hip hop from the day like Digable Planets or De La Soul. Wiser then his years, Brooklyn’s Prophit is definitely on his way to making huge waves in the music industry. Be sure to check out his tracks on his MYSPACE PAGE.

It’s been really awesome to get the well wishes from everyone regarding the arrival of my new baby girl. Things have been awesome and my wife and I couldn’t be happier. Baby Zoe is constantly surprising us and making life more and more interesting each day. I’m learning how to be in 2 places at the same time all the while working in 2 places at the same time. I can’t wait to really start teaching her how to run a computer and take over some of these job requests that we’ve been getting lately. She’s gonna be a ripper, so look out.
On another note, Phill just got done hanging with Kyle from Electric Zombie over the weekend as they were shooting photos for his new catalog and summer line. I can only imagine the fun the two of those guys had – easily the wackiest dudes I know. haha. Be sure to go get your summer swag from EZ now!

My beautiful baby was born last week and we couldn’t be more excited. Life with baby is wonderful and guaranteed to make creativity levels skyrocket. We’ve already started teaching her how to code myspaces and prep files so she can start helping asap. More photos to follow, cause she’s a cutie!
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to TDWP, Ferret Music, and The Artery Foundation for their Top #11 TOP 200 Chart, #1 Hard Music, #1 Independent Label, #1 Christian Album selling a grand total of 30,833 in their first week! This is only the beginning.
We had the priviledge to work with The Devil Wears Prada on their Ferret Music debut album ‘With Roots Above And Branches Below’. They had a really solid vision on how they wanted the artwork to look, and it gave us the opportunity to finally work with the amazing Dan Seagrave. His contribution to the project made working on this extremely enjoyable and we commend him and the band’s ideas for making the packaging as beautiful as it is. We’ll have the full layout up in our portfolio soon, but be sure to pick up the album In Store Now.
Bring Me The Horizon’s new video for their song ‘Diamonds Aren’t Forever’ is now online over at Mtv’s Headbangers Blog. Go check out BMTH utterly destroying it live, and keep an eye out for the cover art we did for them used as their backdrop. It’s freaking HUGE! View Video Here.
This weekend in beautiful Lancaster, PA begins the Launch Music Conference. There are a ton of events/panels/performances going on and we were asked to speak on one of the panels this Friday. We are stoked to be talking about the importance art plays in the music industry along with friends/colleagues Tom Bejgrowicz (Man Alive Design), Carson Slovak (Aurora Films & Music / Art Director – Prosthetic Records), Jeff Breil (Coyote Gospel / Blacklodge PR) and Jeremy Dean (Urban Outfitters). It’s going to be a great time and we are honored to be asked to attend. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this conference. Not only are we speaking Friday, but the almighty TORCHE, CENTURY, DREDG and FROM MONUMENT TO MASSES will be performing at the Cameleon Club. This show is going to be amazing!
For a list of all the events, performances and panels be sure to check out the Launch Music Conference website
Working on Chimaira’s new album “The Infection” (in stores April 21st PRE-ORDER THE ALBUM NOW!) has been a blast. We got the opportunity to do so many different things for this release – Standard & Deluxe Editions, Picture Disc Vinyl, Viral Marketing Campaigns and this AMAZING Super Limited Edition Box Set. It was my brilliant idea to hand assemble all 600+ of this at the Ferret Music offices. I blame this on my punk rock days of doing flyers and making 7 inches. We had a blast doing these though and made a huge mess in the process. Above are some photos from the nights. But be sure to get the full rundown by the fine folks at METALSUCKS.NET.
A big thank you to Carl and Ferret for letting us get nutty with this packaging. And to my lovely wife and Ferret staff for all the hard work. Sorry about the toxic fumes guys – drinks on me.
We have been patiently waiting for the powers that be to announce this release so we can post this new cover for IWRESTLEDABEARONCE’s new album ‘It’s All Happening’ – In Stores June 2nd. It’s easily the craziest piece we’ve done to date and we thank the IWABO/Century Media gang for letting us get nutty. We will post the entire layout to our portfolio as soon as the album drops in June. It’s a doozy, complete with a little boys nightmares being displayed in thought bubble form. It was a blast to create.
